The Round-Up: Teaser Trailers |

This week yielded two new and epic teaser trailers for a couple of highly anticipated movies coming to theaters this November: Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Doctor Strange. In case you missed them, I have them both here for you.

FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM

This highly anticipated film is not a prequel to the Harry Potter series, but exists in the same world before the events of those books. As HP fans the world over can attest, it doesn’t really matter that it’s not directly connected to Harry. It is another adventure in J.K. Rowling’s magical world, so we are on board. I am absolutely looking forward to this film and the new glimpses of the magical world it will bring. Magic in the Americas? Heck, yeah! Bring it!

DOCTOR STRANGE

This movie is firmly planted in the MCU, but it looks quite different from any Marvel movie we’ve seen so far. How exciting! Though this is another origin story, it’s one that has not ever been told on the big screen before. And although I do know a little about Doctor Strange, he is a lesser known character and I’m eager for the film to fully introduce me to his character and his world. On top of that, Tilda Swindon is always amazing and Benedict Cumberbatch makes me swoon. Now they’re both together in a trippy new Marvel movie filled with mind-bending craziness a la Inception? Ummm… Yes, please!
